Angry Cobra Cat

    I saw this video on YouTube. I have never seen an angry cat stand up like this to threaten another cat.

    Oh really? I've seen cats do this before several times. Especially when they are backing up. It just ends up happening I believe part on accident. Also I suppose it is like people standing tall in order to intimidate. I had a small cute little kitten that would do it all the time! It was hilarious because since he was so small to begin with nothing ever found him intimidating. But I don't think he could help it considering he was so small the Napoleon complex was fairly intense. Poor baby. I hope these kitties were okay in the end and didn't get too rowdy. I wonder what the argument was over.... territory I'm guessing? Maybe they just didn't like one another in general... XD

    I've seen it a few times, but they don't usually hold the pose for long. It's just to make themselves appear bigger/more threatening and then to be ready to attack. I've not seen it as a regular thing, though, so I'm sure it varies by cat and situation.
