Cat nip allergy/alternative

    As bizarre as it sounds, my friend's cat is allergic to cat nip. I didn't even know this was possible! I've tried looking around online for more info on this, but it seems like it's pretty rare.

    Has anybody else run into the issue before? And are there any alternatives to cat nip? I know it's not a necessity, but her other cats love it, so she'd like to have something similar still.
