Do you think it is healthy for cats to be inside?

    My cats have always gone outdoors. They just love it. I do worry about them though because we live in a wooded area and there are predators. We have a cat door so they can go in and out in the day time but at night we cap it and keep them in. We also have a screened porch for when they cant go out and play with lots of plants and places they can play and hide. Imagine never being allowed to go outside. As a human I think it would be very depressing. For a cat it must be far worse.
