My cats usually hunt for rats, birds, lizards, and birds. They don't really eat it but they just leave the bodies lying around anywhere which sometimes gives me a shock (and a headache). So do your kitties do this too?

Our cats do! We've had them bring up snakes, lizards, mice, moles, bunnies, rats, and a variety of birds. Sassy specializes in sakes and lizards while Dusty only catches mammals. Sometimes Sassy will eat half of the varmint she catches but Dusty just leaves the bodies. They make pretty quick work during the spring-fall. Sassy has brought 3 lizards in one day and Dusty has caught a mole and a mouse in one as well. I think they have too much time on their hands :p

Yep!! My cat will play with a mouse until it's dead and then she loses interest. She's always been in inside cat, though, so she doesn't eat it. I assume it because she doesn't need to follow that natural instinct to eat it as food.

My cat hunts birds and lizards mostly. She will bring them over and leave it at our door. To my understanding, this is a form of gift giving. Hey it beats getting a tie!

Dorian used to hunt bugs. He was mostly indoors (though he was allowed outdoors) and he'd go after every bug he saw. It'd take hours sometimes, but he would never give up! Sibyl will go after the occasional cockroach but never long enough to actually kill it. I end up having to get rid of it myself.

    Oh yes!!

Flies are the worst. The cats will go bouncing around the house, knocking things off the counters and whatnot because the flies don't just stay on the ground. It's ridiculous!

I used to have cats that would bring me dead birds. One would leave it on my door step, and we would accidentally step on it. It was pretty horrible. Now I just have cats who chase lasers and the occasional fly.

That's so cute! Dorian had a habit of going after gnats. I couldn't even see what he was going after half the time, so it was absolutely hilarious!
