My older cat really bonds with men....but with women, kids, etc? She hates them all, lol.

Does your kitty prefer men or women?

I find that I've known a lot of cats that prefer women over men. I think that my second cat Yuki was okay with either because she was exposed to several different types of people who fed her when she was on her own on the streets. My first cat however was never friendly with men. My best friends' cats have had similiar attitudes, although one friend her father was always an exception to the rule. Despite his size he was always such a kind and gentle man, animals are typically an excellent judge of character.

So far I have not noticed any gender preference among my cats. Anyone, male or female, is a friend. Especially if he or she has a treat for them.

Did you happen to notice if most of those were male or female cats? Ours our female, but we had a couple male cats that definitely preferred female people.

Well, not really I don't think. I have two male cats and they each have Their person in the house. Mouth is mine and Ninja is my husband's. It started out the other way because I originally picked out Ninja as MY cat when he was born. But when Mouth got sick and diagnosed with Feline Asthma and I had to take care of him, Ninja got jealous and has had very little to do with me since. Every once in a while I can convince him to let me love on him but mostly he just walks away. Brat!

Ooo, I didn't know that cats can hold a grudge for so long. My cats do get angry with me once in a while but they would ignore me only up to the next meal time. Once dinner is served, all is forgiven.
