Does your kitty climb?

I don't just mean, "does your cat jump up on things and get high up on counters" or whatever. I mean, do they actually climb like this kitty does? Do they ever tear up your furniture or clothes from getting their claws hooked in things?

 

Awe, that's adorable, for one... And for two, oh yes... my kitty climbs. Sigh.

For those who hadn't seen my "meet Neko" post... There she is... on top of the door... after climbing.

 

Oh, yes. Sibyl loves to sleep on top of the highest surface in our bedroom: the armoire. Poor, little Alice hasn't gotten up the nerve to climb THAT far yet, but she does love to get in the windowsill. I have a feeling that she's definitely going to be a stealthy climber, like Sibyl is.

 

Dorian used to! He would scale the screen door sometimes in order to see outside that part of the house. There was no other way, so he figured it out! Lex just mentioned Sibyl, but forgot one thing: last time we tried to give her a bath, she scaled the shower door. It's a sliding glass door.. I'm not sure how, but she climbed it and got out. The kitty is rotten!
