@MER Awwww, Gemma is very cute as well. You got a really nice pair! Did you adopt them? I ask because it seems most people in this forum were chosen by their cats ;) I found mine in the street when he was a kitten.

Both cats were rescued. Gemma at a Southeran Agriculture store and Rosco at a cat boarding house.

Welcome Matt and Bella and all your kitty kids! It is always nice to have new cat lovers join on
on this fabulous forum. The kitties are all so adorable but then again I have never met a kitty that
I didn't instantly fall in love with. I look forward to seeing both of your on the forums and to hearing
    more about your fur babies.

A cat boarding house? Did the previous owners abandon Rosco or something like that? This is the very first time I heard about a cat boarding house :O I'm very glad you adopted them :) i also adopted mine, he was a stray when I found him near a garbage can. I could tell he had had some bad experiences with other people, because he wasn't eager to get close to us at first. Funny, because now he is the most needy cat ever, lol.

No No. Nothing like that. My wife and I were kind of hesitant about pets because when we do go on vacations, nobody would be home to look after the animals. We started looking around where we could take Gemma (last year) and found several businesses that cat sit. Some kept them pinned up in cages all day which won't work for our furry critters because they have free reign of the house. The place we found has 'kitty condos'. They vary in sizes depending on how much you want to rent space for. For a condo spanning about 8 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and 2 feet in depth, they charge $25 a day. There's multiple shevles in the condo with holes cut out so they can jump the various levels in the condo. Each condo has a glass door so they can see out. The owner lets the cats out to roam a few hours everyday at separate times. It may be a while but I'll try to get some pics for you.
