Hello from South Carolina

    Hey everyone, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I am from South Carolina, and new here. I have a twelve year old indoor house cat. She has been fixed, and is declawed.

    I look forward to getting to know you all, and participating in this forum.

    Welcome to the forums, would be lovely to see pics of your cat. Why did you decide to get her declawed?

    I will try to find a good picture of my cat within the next few days, so I can upload it.

    I had her declawed because she was tearing up my furniture. I had bought her a scratch post, but she insisted on sharping her claws on my couch and piano bench. My husband was not thrilled with her messing everything up. He told me to have her declawed or get rid of her.
