Hug Your Cat Day

I actually couldn't find a "for sure" date on this, but it was within the last week. As the sub-caption says....it's every day of the year anyway, right?

 

I think that cats will live longer when they are hugged daily in my opinion. I feel strongly that when cats feel loved they will fight for the ones that love them enough to hug them daily, and then, do all the other loving things to them daily as well. A hug a day may just keep the vet doctors away alot longer.

 

I think a lot of creatures especially mammals benifit from hugs and attention. I also think that pets that are hugged from an early age are often more comfortable with human affection and interaction. It seems to create a bond. I've never heard of hug your cat day but I'm glad it exists.

 

It depends on how strong you hug them
I love hugging my cats, they don't think the same, I'm afraid, but I don't care

 

I go overboard with affection for our cats. I kiss them on the nose, mouth, ears and head constantly. When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is hold them. The second thing I do is feed them.

 

I agree everyday is hug your cat day! They need a little love all the time.
