Pepperoni BAD--HIGH salt content...also, there are other foods like garlic; in which inherently extremely healthy for humans, can be extremely poisonous to cats. Watch what you feed your kitty; especially an older one. While you're at it--don't use any of those flea meds on him/her that they have to ingest. Young or old, they are downright harmful. Food for thought... ;p

    Welcome to the forum Aaron!

Well, given that even people shouldn't eat a lot of pepperoni, it certainly wouldn't do your cat much good if you gave him/her a lot! However a small amount shouldn't be a problem as a very occasional treat. Just be sure to check the ingredients for any items which cats cannot eat - eg onion or garlic.

Pepperoni is too spicy for cats. Their tummies can't handle it. They will eat it because the flavor is so strong but then they will end up getting sick.
I know there is a post on here somewhere about things that your cat should not eat. Check back on the older posts you may find some information
that will be helpful to you.

Why feed something so highly processed to your feline buddy? There are so many nice things out there you can safely feed a cat, but if your cat ends up eating a couple pepperoni pieces I'd not worry too much.
