This question might sound a bit odd, but I'd really like to know which cat breed you'd really like to own and why?

For me it would be the Norwegian forest cat. I don't know why, but I totally love that cat breed :) I saw a lot of those when I was working in Norway, and I must say they looked like nothing I had ever seen before in my life!!! They were heavy as heck!!!! Here are some pictures of this amazing cat breed:

They look like a cross between a domestic cat and a lion! :D Gorgeous breed, although I bet that long coat needs a lot of attention and care!

Yeah, they look like little lions :) A neighbor of mine in Norway owned a lot of these cats, and she said the coat wasn't so hard to take care of, not as hard as it seems :) I asked her, after seeing her magnificent cats, they all looked like mini lions :D

The cat of my dreams would be a Scottish fold cat or a persian cat. I love persian cat's faces. They are so squishy and cute. I love how fluffy they are, but I know that they require a lot of grooming. My current cat requires a lot of brushing so my dream cat might actually be my nightmare cat. So much fur!

Bengals are really beautiful :) To be honest I had no idea a breed like that existed! It reminds me so much of a cheetah... a very small one :p The story of this breed sounds very interesting, I'll read more about it, because that cheetah print really intrigued me!

The scottish fold cat is a nice breed, but they don't have long hair at all, right? I ask because I just googled the name, I have seen that cat in real life, but had no idea what it was called. They look very fluffy :) I bet they're easier to take care of than a norwegian forest cat. By the way, the cat in your avatar picture... what breed is it?? It reminds me so much of a norwegian forest cat, but I could be very wrong!

I always thought it would be nice to have a big fluffy Persian or Himalayan cat. They are just gorgeous. I don't know if I would ever have the opportunity to own one since I would rather adopt a cat then paying someone for a particular breed. There are a lot of kittens and cats out there that really need homes so I am not picky at this time.

I know, to be honest I have never paid for a cat in my life, but I like to dat-dream a lot ;) My current cat was a stray one I found wandering around my house, I attracted him with some ham bits and the rest was just story. I guess I'll always dream of having one of those norwegian forest cats, but odds are I will never actually own one. As you said there are many kittens out there in need of a loving home!
