He's obviously not so tiny, huh?

But when he came into the SPCA, he was over 30 pounds back in December. Now, 9 months later, he's lost over a third of his weight. He's now down to 19pounds, 11 ounces. He's obviously still way too overweight, but that's progress, right!?

I know this weight is unhealthy but he still looks pretty cute. Hopefully he'll get down to a healthy weight and live a long life. That picture still makes me want to hug my screen, though.

Good to know that he has got his weight down before his weight got him down. I have read some sad stories of cats that became fatter and fatter and fatter until they died from over-weight.

Oh wow. I was at a friend's house yesterday who had one of the biggest cats I had seen up close. He only clocked in at around 13 pounds, though, so to add another 3 on top of that....? That must be one big kitty, too!
